How connected dice read a roll

GoDice are ordinary to hold and anything but ordinary once they land. Each die carries a small sensor and a Bluetooth radio, so the app sees the face that came up the moment the die stops moving. Nobody squints across the table, nobody argues about a cocked die, and the score keeps itself. The technology disappears into the roll, which is exactly where we wanted it.

Choosing a pack

The free games app is the reason to own a set. It ships with classic board games you already know, party challenges that need nothing but the dice and a group of friends, a maths practice mode for younger players, and a running log of every session so the leaderboard at home actually means something. Add the RPG shells and the same six smart dice become a full polyhedral set — D4, D8, D10, D12, D20 — without a second battery to charge.

Shells, trays and the rest

Choose the pack by the size of your table. The Family Pack of five covers most board games and travels well. The Full Pack of six is the standard set for a group that plays often and wants a spare. The Ultimate Pack pairs six dice with the converter shells, which is the set a tabletop campaign wants on day one. Every pack charges in its own case, so the dice are ready when the evening starts.

What the app adds to game night

A connected die does not change the games you love; it removes the small friction that interrupts them. Turns move faster, the rules stay on the screen instead of in an argument, and the app quietly keeps the information that used to live on a scrap of paper. That is the whole promise: more play, less bookkeeping.
